Book chauffeured transportation with Hermes Worldwide this Super Bowl Sunday

This Sunday, upwards of approximately 110 million people across the United States are expected to watch the Super Bowl. If you are going to be one of the very lucky individuals who will be attending this game live in New Orleans, then it’s no secret to you that the stadium is going to be absolutely packed.

If you don’t want crowds to ruin this once-in-a-lifetime event, then make sure to do some planning. Consider booking chauffeured transportation to get you to and from the game. Hermes chauffeurs are some of the best in the industry and will help ensure that your ride isn’t stressful, but enjoyable.

Don’t worry about being late

Nothing is worse waiting for friends to drive over to get you. Hermes chauffeurs are known for their punctuality, so regardless of whether you want to be picked up at a house or a hotel, you can take comfort in the fact that you’ll get to the stadium with plenty of time to spare before kickoff, so you can enjoy all the tailgating activities.

Enjoy the ride over

Are you going to watch the Baltimore Ravens face off against the San Francisco 49ers with a group of your closest friends? If so, you’ll be happy to know that Hermes is equipped with a fleet of sophisticated vehicles, like luxury SUVs, which can accommodate multiple people in a comfortable setting.

If you are meeting your buddies at the stadium, Hermes chauffeurs will pick you up in a spacious sedan. Whether you are riding over to the site of the biggest football game of the year by yourself or in a group, our spacious and comfortable cars will help guarantee your ride is enjoyable.

Forget about finding a parking spot

Can you even begin to imagine how much of a headache it will be to find a parking spot at or anywhere near the stadium on Super Bowl Sunday? Don’t stress yourself trying to find a place to park your car – instead let Hermes’s door-to-door service drop you off wherever you need to be.

Have the time of your life

If you are planning on enjoying a few drinks, you shouldn’t be driving home. Let one of the chauffeurs at Hermes be your designated driver. Going to the Super Bowl is an experience that you will never forget, and the last thing that you want to be thinking about is drinking water instead of a beer or liquor of your choice.

Don’t ride with just anyone

Sure, you could always get to the stadium with your friend (who has a penchant for driving too fast) or take a cab (with drivers who don’t know where they are going), but are you really going to feel comfortable riding with individuals who aren’t always safe behind the wheel?

Hermes chauffeurs not only know how to drive in rain or shine: All of them undergo state and federal criminal background checks and random drug screenings. But, that’s not all. Before they are hired, these chauffeurs are required to provide a five-year motor vehicle history check to ensure that they have a clean driving record. Can you say your cab driver has to submit to the these rigorous requirements?

This event closed the Biltmore until it was reopened during World War II as a hospital for wounded servicemen. It was shut down a second time and didn't open its doors again until the 1980s. Since then, guests have reported hearing odd noises and being inexplicably let off at the 13th floor without having pushed the button.

2) Bourbon Orleans Hotel – New Orleans, Louisiana
This hotel was originally built in the late 1800s as an all girls school, hospital and orphanage. People who have stayed here have reported being woken up at night to sounds of female kids and adults walking through the hotel, as well as a child who likes to roll a ball through the hallway.

3) The Marshall House – Savannah, Georgia
The Marshall House is over 160 years old, and over the years has experienced some very spooky events. Spending 20 hours in one of Coach's uncomfortable seats with food that doesn't look edible probably doesn't sound like a good time to most people.

Tips for making long air travel more enjoyable

In many cases, arriving at your dream destination means getting on board a plane. Depending on where you're going, it can take more than 24 hours to get to your luxury hotel or vacation home. In other words, that's a lot of traveling but, that doesn't mean that you have to be miserable the entire time. published an article that described some tips on how to make that trip from Denver to Tokyo a bit more enjoyable and recommends that during you're next long flight you:

     ♦ Upgrade your seat
Spending 20 hours in one of Coach's uncomfortable seats with food that doesn't look edible probably doesn't sound like a good time to most people. That is why if you have the opportunity to do so, you should consider upgrading. If you are a frequent traveler and have accumulated many miles, use them to get a seat up in first class or business class.

     ♦ Put down the work
Many people are tempted to get some work done on a long flight. Although this isn't a bad idea, make sure to schedule in some down time. You may find yourself going crazy if you attempt to work for 20 hours straight. Relax a bit. Take advantage of the in-flight entertainment systems, your iPad, earphones, books on tape and whatever else it is that will keep you happy.

     ♦ Don't bring too much
You may tell yourself that you want to bring as much stuff on board with you as you can to keep yourself entertained, but this isn't the best idea. You'll just get stuck putting it under your seat in many cases, which could mean that you'll have less leg room.

Once you've arrived at your destination, you're likely going to be very tired. Don't take a chance driving in an unfamiliar place when you're jetlagged. Instead, rely on an executive transportation service like Hermes Worldwide. Whether you need an airport limo or a luxury sedan, you can rest assured that your chauffeurs will get you where you need to go safely and comfortably.

The Great American Beer Festival in Denver should not be missed

Although there are plenty of great things to do and see in Denver, one event that should not be missed if you live there or are visiting is the Great American Beer Festival (GABF). Held at the Colorado Convention Center at 700 14th Street between October 11 and 13, this gathering is sure to appeal to experienced and novice ale drinkers alike.

The GABF was started in 1982 and various tasting sessions give attendees the opportunity to choose from more than 2,000 beers from some of the nation's 500 best breweries. Whether you prefer an IPA from Louisiana-based Abita or a blonde ale from Denver Renegade brewing company, you can find it at this festival.

In addition to tastings, there is also a competition. Breweries enter their beers, which are then judged by the GABF's professional judge panel. Luckily, you don't have to be deciding who will take home first place as ticket-holders can also sample the ales that have entered the contest.

Tickets are approximately $65 and doors open at 5:30 p.m. The members-only session on October 13 begins at 12 p.m and will cost you $55 to get in. As part of the entry fee, attendees will receive a commemorative tasting cup, program and unlimited one-ounce samples of all the beer.

The GABF is expected to draw more than 49,000 people over the course of the three days. As a result, parking is going to be near impossible so you may want to consider making transportation reservations with a luxury car service like Hermes Worldwide. Their experienced chauffeurs will take the stress out of getting and leaving the convention center so you can focus on enjoying yourself.
